🚀 The job:

The job will involve conducting molecular biology research projects with the Scientific Director. This includes conceptualizing protocols, testing them, developing molecular and synthetic biology protocols to complement Floating Genes’ workflow.. The work will focus on molecular biology and may extend to other related areas (data analysis...).

👨👩 Your profile:

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Synthetic Biology or Biochemistry
• 4 - 5 years of postdoc in Synthetic Biology (having worked on: Synthetic genetic circuits, CRISPR and or Protein Engineering)
• Has published at least two first author publications in peer reviewed journals
• Very strong background in molecular biology,
• Having worked with human genome will be a plus
• Experience with NGS and coding in python / R will be very valuable
• Comfortable with conceptualizing and running experiments
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Curious, open-minded, creative, willing to work in a team on new topics
